    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned more about the culture and socio-political environment of the countries in each region of the world than about the actual geography. I studied the locations of cities and landforms, but that information wasn't on the tests. I took the class hoping to learn geography. A better name for the class might be World Governments and Trade Practices.

    Course highlights:

I was encouraged to research the political structure and current events related to a number of different countries, and I found this helped me to understand these countries in relationship to our own nation and world environment.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Expect the content of the text to be a higher priority on the tests than actual maps. Be involved in the discussions; you'll learn more that way, and your interest will be reflected in your grade.
