Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a vigorous course. There is a lot of note-taking and information you have to take in., however, this is as similar to a college class experience as you are going to get in high school. There are essays (DBQ, SAQ, continuity/changes, compare/contrast) that you will have to write. World history is all encompassing. Enjoy learning it and you will do better in the class if it interests you.

    Course highlights:

Note-taking, reading, essays. I learned memorization isn't the idea behind history. You have to really understand and connect from one period to the other. Remember to ask questions and take good notes, you will not have time to reread everything. Be smart and efficient with your time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Give a lot of time and effort into your writing and annotate the passages you read to better comprehend the texts!
