Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gives an over view on reading music and learning everything you need to know about music, just the basics that is.

    Course highlights:

I learned new things such as chords and the composition of scales in major, harmonic minor, melodic minor, and natural minor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, write down everything they writes on the board. Getting staff paper will help you visually see and write musical motes down. So have a note book and staff paper book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because I think that even for non music majors, being able to read music is an important thing to know. I mean we listen to music everyday, wouldn't you like to understand the thing that connects to everything. Everyone can relate to music so I think it is awesome to learn about it.

    Course highlights:

Well because I am a music major it was all highlights, because this is what I love to do. I love to work with music. I have always been able to play chords on the piano and guitar but now I can actually read the notes and understand them while I play. I think that is one of the best highlights for me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

That is you like music at all and want to know more about the amazing music all around us then you should take this class. Music major or not, its a great class to take. Do your work. and check for assignments daily. You can get a good grade if you just do the work. Also, go to class because if you don't you will be confused about what is going on.
