Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed this class because my professor chose to explain mathematical concepts in a way that worked well for me. He explained why we were doing things, not just how to do them.

    Course highlights:

Because the professor who taught this class had a Liberal Arts education, I learned much more than just Calculus during my time in this class. We discussed number theory, patterns, and reasoning, relating all of this to Calculus.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this class, and all others, come to class prepared. Do so by reading the syllabus and exposing yourself to the content that you will be covering in the next class. This seems like a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised how little students do this. Also, do all the homework problems twice.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor explains very well the material and gives various examples. He answers any and all questions you have.

    Course highlights:

The highlights was simply being able to understand something I never thought would be easy in my life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a good amount of homework. None of it is ever due but merely for practice. Do it. It helps get the method get stuck in your head.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's a challenge. Do not always go for the easy classes, step outside your comfort zone, and have faith in yourself.

    Course highlights:

Understanding the material alone is a highlight. I learned how to fully solve a calculus problem and it made me feel good about myself in the end.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice is to pay attention and the minute you feel like you are having trouble understanding the material, go see a tutor or talk to your professor.
