Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I will recommend him to anyone going at Hartnell or going to be and need to take English 2. He has a few things that he will grade you, but won't give you a lot of homework. He will have only one lecture topic which will take most of the semester. He makes teaching fun and entertainment, and also learn a lot about myself as a writer along the way. In essays, he gives you a question related to your reading and you have to answer it essay style, but you can make it however you want it to be. For example, you can write it in persuasive or formal.

    Course highlights:

I learn from taking this course that you can be creative in your essays by thinking outside the box. Instead of just deliver your answer or what ever the purpose of the essay, you add some ideas that will get the audience to be intrigued and want to read more about your essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay calmed and write as much as you can

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the professor. He shows both a sort of laid-back and passionate demeanor. By that I mean, he's not too worried about the length of the class or when you arrive, as long as you don't disturb others and are able to grasp the subject. He's very knowledgeable and witty, I found him to be hilarious.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of this course were reading and dissecting Roland Barthes' Mythologies. There were a few difficult passages but the professor helped us break everything down piece by piece.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do it, Pirani is an excellent instructor and as long as you pay attention you will learn so much from him.
