    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Arteaga really knows the course. Her experience and mastery with the subject truly shows when asking for help.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course involved programming a combination lock. Many students went through different possibilities, and I really saw some creativity in the classroom. The use of data structures and algorithms are necessary for upper level programming, and much was covered in this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Know the language! Knowing C++ is a must, know the syntax, understand classes, or you will fall behind fast.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The information seems difficult but is actually simple as long as you have attention to detail and write out you ideas/plans for what you are doing.

    Course highlights:

Learning linked list and starting to think in more abstract forms to solve the problems you are given.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course it's not very hard as long as you understand how classes work and you are not scared to ask questions to the professor.
