    Course Overview:

    I recommend this course because it introduces you to many famous books that will expand your literary herizon as a student.

    Course highlights:

    I learned many new words that broadened my vocabulary and I was introduced to many good books.

    Make sure you have a good understanding of the books you read before the tests come around.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Mr.s Branno is an absolute joy to have as a teacher. She is a recently graduated alumni of Port Charlotte High School and has a good understanding of what students go through. She teaches in a very relaxed way but she still manages to get all of the material to her students in a clear and concise manner. I have seen a gradual growth in my reading and comprehension skills during my two years with her as my teacher.

    Course highlights:

    This course covers mostly poetry and is pretty interesting if you're into that kinda stuff. I never really liked poetry that much but learning how to properly read and analyze it has made me appreciate it far more. You will go over common symbols found in poetry, biblical and mythological allusions,

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure that you stay on top of your work as there is a lot of reading and writing involved. It is a fun course that you can learn a lot from but the work can be overwhelming if you procrastinate.
