    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for high school students who desire to pursue any career in the field of science. It is extremely rigorous, however, it is certainly a course that will prepare students for college if taken in high school. Personally, it will help me be successful when I take the course again in college, since I already developed a background and understanding of the subject.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs. Labs were the key to my success in the class, as they helped me visualize the material and understand concepts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention to labs. The labs help students visualize concepts, and as a result, will help students learn the material and prepare them for exams. Learn to keep an organized, professional, lab journal. Additionally, learn to take notes that will help you understand and remember material. Study the notes the same day the lecture is given.
