    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is simple to comprehend and teaches biology in the simplest terms. Throughout the semester, students are constantly quizzed on new and old information alike, which allows them to retain all information learned throughout the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the hands-on experiments, which took place weekly. Each one was an accurate representation of the material we learned and it provided a unique and memorable way to capture the depth of the topic we were discussing. In particular, we worked with colored pony beads and pipe cleaners to demonstrate the coding of RNA and DNA strands and how they are related to provide a visual aspect to the microscopic study. I learned the entire cell system and how it works in humans, animals, and plants.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To be successful in Biology, you must keep up with class work and prepare for exams because they make up a majority of the class grade, excluding the final exam grade.

The class is extremely hard, but it is not boring. Every day you will learn something new and challenging the class really makes you think.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing that I have learned this year would be Electro Chemistry, it really interests me and keeps me engaged.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, take great notes, and PLEASE DO EVERY HANDOUT.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course will be very helpful in college, especially if you are going to anything anatomy related. I learned so much within a short period of time, also had lots of fun! This class is a lot of work but you get all the materials needed to help you be successful in the class.

    Course highlights:

Dissection is the highlight of the class, it gives you the opportunity and experience to learn hands on. I believe being able to do things yourself is the best way to learn and that is exactly what this class did.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the class. It may be a lot of work but the outcome is great. But make sure to study all materials and complete all packets. Also go in for extra help and ask lots of questions.
