Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry was an amazing course for me to take! I loved the teacher and the pace of the class. Chemistry involves a lot of labs and experiments which is great for those who take well to interactive learning.

    Course highlights:

In taking this course I learned a lot about different chemicals and how to read them. I also learned how to correctly look at and understand the periodic table of elements. My favorite part of this course was learning how to read and write equations with elements because I was still able to remember that to this day and it helps since I am going to be taking a lot of chemistry courses in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking an honors chemistry course or any honors course for that matter, you have to make sure that you are always getting your work done, paying attention in class, and taking down any and all notes that you need. When you take chemistry especially, you always want to pay close attention to any notes because there is a lot of vocabulary and terms that you have to remember.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class due to the fact that it allows you to come to terms with the fact that what you do in your every day life could effect the planet and future generations of humanity.

    Course highlights:

If you shorten your shower by even as much as two minutes every time you take a shower you would be saving gallons of water every day and also decreasing your water bill

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Quizlet will be the most beneficial study tip due to the fact that there are several new terms that will be necessary to know when understanding the material and taking tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the curriculum. It is taught in a way that allows you to absorb the information the way that you need to and helps you to succeed.

    Course highlights:

Within this course I was taught about molecular shape, and how a molecules movement and current state (solid, liquid or gas) can be explained at STP (standard temperature and pressure).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely start studying over the summer as much as possible. Memorize ionization numbers, as well as the solubility rules. These numbers and rules are the base of the course for the first few months, it will not only help you succeed but it will also help your teacher along as well.
