    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it lets your learn about the country you live in with great depth. It could be about the mystery or Rockefeller and his monopoly. It makes it more enjoyable if you are learning about where you live.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was getting to know more about 20th century. Growing up, I didn't know much about the 20th century besides that the great depression happened, there was two world wars, and the Chicago Cubs won the World Series once in that whole century. I didn't know who Warren G. Harding was, or that Truman was the President during the Hiroshima bombing. Topics like that where I got very in depth material about is what made me love the course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

One thing I would give advice about would be to really get to understand the knowledge behind what you are reading in the textbooks. Another would be to go over what you did wrong on the tests because they will pop up again on the AP test. Finally, I would say to make flashcards about all the terms you learn so it is easier to study at the end of the year.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a fairly easy course, and Ms. Greenswag did a great job connecting it to modern day. It can also get you out of college requirements, if you do well on the AP test

    Course highlights:

A good, in depth investigation into U.S. history utilizing multiple political/social perspectives and primary sources

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take textbook notes and you'll be just fine

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend, however it is a required class. The teaching style was difficult, there were a lot of notes with reading quizzes that dropped most people's grades. Overall, it was a difficult class for many reasons.

    Course highlights:

I learned about american history. If you like history then you will probably learn a lot. For me, I learned more about the big events most people know about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes in a wise manner otherwise when it comes to the tests a quizzes, it will be really difficult.
