    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging, but you will learn a lot. I do recommend a strong math background and possibly some programming skills. All the homework involves Maple, which can be difficult if you don't have experience with this program.

    Course highlights:

Besides the actual subject matter, I learned how to turn in a quality piece of homework. The professor really stresses annotation, which is a technique I've carried over to all my classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start your homework early, find a study group, review complex algebra and multivariable math
