    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. Professor Hegarty has a passion for art and it shows when she is lecturing on the history of art. She even lets us choose what it is that we would like to remember and make our own tests. There is one paper written on a work of art (a painting, sculpture, or building) from the book, but it is only 600-900 words and very simple.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the evolution of art beginning in the renaissance era. The different styles not only showed in painting but also shared similarities in the architecture and sculptor. We also learned about the different artists, like El Greco, David Velazquez, Van Goh, Da Vinci, and Picasso.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend students to simply do the reading and do the study guides and term paper. There is no way anybody can fail this class.
