Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I will recommend professor Elliott because she is a great teacher. She knows how to get you involved in what the class is discussing. She makes it interesting and fun to learn.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are the discussions that are brought upon the class. Whenever a student has something to say professor Elliott encourages you to speak up. She gets involve and whatever she says is interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some tips for this course is to never lie. Be honest to the professor, and she will be a great teacher for you. Also if you do not understand what is going on, professor Elliott will be willing to take her time to make sure you understand what is going on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You will leave the course with the ability to write with limited errors. Although the course may seem intimidating, the amount of effort you put into your writing will reflect on your grade.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the readings we had; the topics covered many issues that need to be discussed. My favorite reading was Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Letter in Birmingham Jail" since it is very thorough and touching, especially when he mentions how he has to explain to his daughter that she cannot go to the same places as whites because of the color of her skin. During this course I learned that discussions have various sides and sometimes there is no right answer to an issue.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you decide to take this course, always write like it is the last time you will ever express yourself on paper.
