    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the student really does further their understanding of American history and how the country came to be.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use my time by planning ahead a schedule. I learned that handwritten notes are the best way for the brain to retain information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure that you will do the work and study.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You are guaranteed to walk out of this classroom with way more knowledge about United States History than you walked in with. The teacher does an excellent job of going into depth about each topic covered while also incorporating a few fun activities here and there to keep students engaged. You will be well prepared for the AP Exam come May.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was all of the knowledge I gained that has stuck with me even two years after taking the course or even opening a U.S. History textbook.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you keep on your reading and note taking. There are a lot of notes and chapter readings assigned each day of class and getting behind can really put a damper on your grade.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to those who truly love U.S. History. Do not take this course simply for the AP credit, because if you don't like U.S. history you may have a hard time getting through the class.

    Course highlights:

I loved the unit on slavery. Although it was very hard to talk about at times, it was nice to have discussions on the topic. I also like the debates we would have in the class as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study a lot. If you do not study you will sadly fail the class but if you put in effort you will make it through the class and actually have a very nice time in the class as well.
