    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are a student who really wants to learn about how the human body processes the food you eat and what food is good to eat for the health of your body. Or maybe you want to learn what nutrients are related to what diseases. This class is for you.

    Course highlights:

I liked learning about what makes a food healthy. It is one thing to read an article on the newest health food that everybody is saying is healthy, and it is another thing to actually learn and understand why something is good for your body or how something can hurt it. I also liked learning about how to much or to little of a nutrient can cause a disease and if someone has a disease we learned what they should eat to make them healthier.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your textbook and notes because there is a lot of information to retain. You will need to memorize a lot of stuff to understand how each system works and how each nutrient can go through your body. It is a very specific kind of course and filled with science. I recommend taking a biology course before taking this class because that really helped me.
