Not too easy. Not too difficult.

This course is a very rewarding experience, as you get to learn the basics of biology, which is a stepping stone for further education in the health science field.

The highlights of this course would include lectures by an enthusiastic professor and a pretty easy A if you pay attention and engage.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise that you pay attention to her lectures in class, print our her notes and highlight what she tells you, and complete her study guides for extra credit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Dr. Bartow because one, if you are a pre-med/pharm/vet, you are required to take biology I and II and he his lectures/power points are straight forward and easy to understand. And two, when preparing to take a practical, his study guides are straight to the point and not as complex as previous study guides had had for other professors.

    Course highlights:

The key points in this lab that is crucial are: learning how to work a microscope and identifying the components, understanding meiosis and mitosis, know the difference between fermentation and cellular respiration and understanding the metric conversion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure when you are studying, create flashcards, because they will be your friend. Always look at the power points before class so you will have a clear understanding on what you will learn the following class.
