    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course for people who are not independent learners. This course was hard to follow and no one really knew when something was due or was being assigned.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was being able to turn things in somewhat late and my professor was very lenient on due dates. He was also very understanding on attendance. I also learned grammar and punctuation skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention in class. Take notes and ask alot of questions when you are not understanding of what the professor is saying.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Van Camp goes above and beyond the curriculum. She really urges and encourages her students to understand the material and provides one-on-one assistance for students that are confused or need a little help. She is definitely passionate about teaching and English/Literature.

    Course highlights:

She taught me how to interpret literature and find the various deep meanings of it, specifically in poetry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be ready to actually put in the effort to work. You will be required to write several essays, take a lot of tests, and you MUST make it to class on time. Attendance and homework is very important. Do not take this class if you cannot work well with others because there are several group activities. Also, speak up. She loves when people participate and throw their opinions out there.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I was a great course and made me a better writer. Dr. Riddles gave constructive help when it came to my papers and was always helpful in class.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better knowledge of how to cite using MLA, I learned how to proof read my work thoroughly, and I learned overall how to become a better writer.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write a paper ever so often but know that the paper will be on a fun topic and easy to write about. Attendance is very important.
