Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a great teacher and makes the material very easy to learn.

    Course highlights:

I took statistics in high school and had a lot of trouble. I am actually enjoying it in this class. I always had trouble with the probability section, but I am doing great on that section in this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Statistics teaches you to think and speak scientifically, Dr. Strale will ensure that you understand the content and the purpose of the course.

    Course highlights:

I plan to attend medical school, and this course has taught me how to examine and decipher ordinal, nominal, and ratio scale studies in complex scientific journals. This course has also taught me to be skeptical of data, and how it can be skewed to manipulate uneducated people.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the vocabulary intensely, the calculations are important, but not nearly as important as understanding the conceptual side of the course. Concepts first, mathematics second.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Woods really utilizes the textbook like no other Math Professor. She is readily available for any student that may be struggling with the subject that is covered during class.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was learning about standard deviation and how we had to do various projects to better understand the concepts. I never thought I would pass her class but I did, with understanding.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be very attentive and take notes. Read the chapters the night before because there are quizzes in the morning.
