    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I was not a fan of the class. there were many more interesting classes that I could have taken.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about different cultures.

    Course Overview:

    This class was able to not only present the important aspects of the world, but it also highlighted the diversity that is around us. It brought significant amount of lessons that were easily relatable to us as we live in such a diverse city as Chicago.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how people behave due to specific environment and how environment affects their actions. I was able to connect why people work together in order to evolve. I also learned how the environment is affected by many industries and how we can minimize the damage that such industries bring onto us.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    You should keep all of your packets because they will definitely help you for the AP exam. There is also a lot of vocab in this course so it is important to study them throughout the year as it will be very stressful trying to cram everything the day before the exam.

    Forces students to learn about real world issues and how we are apart of them. It was a new experience in a social studies class and made me step outside my comfort zone in learning things I did not know were important.
