Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is great if you love to learn about many different aspects of American history, from before the Revolutionary War to the Roaring 20's. It's especially great for students who never really learned much about US History in elementary school, like myself!

    Course highlights:

I've learned so much about how American society has developed over the decades, and how different people and patterns interact and persist throughout history. It's quite fascinating to finally learn some more about the USA!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always make sure that you do your note cards for this class - it's probably the most important part of studying! It's also a great idea to polish up your essay-writing skills, as we do about 1 essay or so a month. It's recommended that you keep up with notes in class, and understanding the content.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to history buffs that like to write! There's so much information that can be taken from this class covering such a broad spectrum of history.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the group work we did. We learned about pretty much everything from Christopher Columbus to Modern day America.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is vital to keep track of vocabulary terms learned. You have to study before every test and exam. Make sure to actually read the chapters.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There is a ton of reading in this class, and while that can be good, you need a lot of focus and retouching on major events. Your teacher and their focus on the class can make or break your grade ad whether or not you pass the AP test.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much more about United States history in this class than I did in all of my elementary class combined. The textbook goes very in depth and the topics are very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook! It's big and will take a long time, but if you read the entire book you have a MUCH better chance of passing the AP test.
