I would recommend this class because he is a great teacher and will always make learning fun.

    Course highlights:

I learned that everything isn't as hard as it may seem. The best parts were actually the test and quizzes, the test is original you will always be able to tell that they come from him.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask questions, he's always available for help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class has been both fascinating and challenging at the same time. In this course I have found out various things that have sparked my interest in Biology but also reveal many relevant facts about the world around us.

    Course highlights:

IB Biology continues to inspire me every day as it is a subject that is very intriguing and shows insight onto how things work, from the human body to trends in nature.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course you, a student, must be able to evaluate your own understanding of the subject of study. Although your peers and teachers are always there to help you out and answer your questions, you must also occasionally set aside half an hour just to read over some notes if you are struggling with that particular topic.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the teacher I normally would like to be in a chemistry course, but Dr. Walter makes bio interesting and easy to follow. When she teaches she makes little analogies up for the students to understand the harder topics, which is very helpful when taking unit tests.

    Course highlights:

The course is not over so there are many more things to learn, but so far my favorite unit was the unit on proteins and enzymes. I learned how the enzymes bind to the substrate, the inhibitors that help and disable the enzymes and all of the things that can happen in a reaction.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class you have to be willing to sometimes stay up and study for the tests, even if it is pass you bedtime. The course does not have a lot of overbearing homework, but when homework is assigned complete it and circle any problems you did not understand because you can ask her to explain it to you, which in my opinion helps a lot. When it comes to studying for unit tests take a two or three days before and make flashcards on things you need to study and then when you are at school the next day compare your cards with a friend that you know who is going to study and see if you missed any key materials.
