    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In the beginning this class was somewhat tough, but after practicing numerous amount of times it became easier because calculus tends to deal with a lot of derivatives. Good lesson plans and practice in class, and also good teacher interactions, and group activities.

    Course highlights:

After practicing with derivatives it became easier, because if you know how to find the derivative of a function that means you can find the slope, which is what calculus mostly deals with, and later on derivatives will continue to help you whether it is with anti-derivatives or position, velocity, acceleration questions, or even slope fields.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice many times and eventually you will begin to understand how to solve derivatives. Go to tutoring if you really need it, ask your friends for help, stay after school with the teacher if you need it

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you enjoy math this class is something you should definitely take. It is not that easy, but as time passes on it will become easier for you. From personal experience I used to struggle in the beginning, but after a lot of practice I slowly began to understand the concept more.

    Course highlights:

Good teaching methods and explanations. Lots of practice in class, and group interactions so that everyone can work together to understand the subject. I learned about finding the derivatives of equations using certain rules, as well as anti-derivatives which are the opposite. I also learned about limits and how they work, as well as position/velocity/acceleration equations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice a lot, learn how to solve derivatives, if you need help don't hesitate to ask the teacher because you can easily fall behind and that's not good in this course. Study with other friends, it's easier if you study with others because they might know how to do something well, while you can help them as well.
