    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for students who want to become doctors, nurses, psychiatrists or any other profession within the medical field because this course teaches students about the human body and how our body functions. It gives students an idea of why our body function the way it does and it leads students to question parts of our bodies. Also, when students go off to college they would know a lot about the human body when majoring in nursing or any major that involves health care.

    Course highlights:

Anatomy is the study of the structure of the human body and physiology is how the human body functions. In this course, you will learn about gross anatomy ( body parts that are seen with the naked eye), histology ( deals with the structure of cells, tissues and organs) and cytology ( the study of how cells look). You will also learn the levels of organizations, which are chemical, cellular, tissue, organs, organ systems and organisms Students will also encounter a lot of anatomy and physiology terms. Terms that relates to the human body, like inferior, superior, proximal, deep, cells, tissue and etc. You will also learn about nerve system, skeletal system, skin system and cardiovascular system.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should Study! Study! Study! It is important that you study because you want to be able to absorb the knowledge that's being taught to you so it can be like second nature when you take a test, quiz or final. Anatomy and physiology is not easy, that is why students should study every article your A+P teacher gives you and study your notes. In A+P, we also watch videos to help us get a better understanding of the concepts.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because she not only teaches the lesson but she also helps you with skills that can help you later on in college like AP Formatting, Essay writing skills, and how to form proper study groups in college. She's also a helping hand after school when you may not be understanding something or just in need of someone to talk to. Although she is a new teacher this year, I've been doing great starting off in her class .

    Course highlights:

During this course, one of the most important things I've learned is how to multitask. Her class can sometimes become very stressful, because we have plenty of assignments to do within the month, but I've learned how to put time aside to get the work done and not let anything pile up at the last minute. This is also a skill that can not just help me in college, but also in the future with any work I may be doing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When considering this course, you should be prepared to learn a lot of different things and never give in no matter how hard things may become. It is always best to turn in assignments on time and ask questions when you may not be understanding something.
