    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Doug is committed to helping students succeed and he will do everything he can to make sure that you get the help you need. There were times that I struggled and he did everything he could including reteach me an entire class worths of material in a different way just to try and help me understand the material.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me all about anatomy and how the body functioned. It highlights all the important areas of the body and how the different systems interact with each other.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to stay current with what you are learning and don't allow yourself to fall too far behind because you will only fall deeper and once you are too confused it's almost impossible to pull yourself back up. I would also recommend that you study in groups! Studying with classmates make it easier because you have to come up with questions as well as answers and that is helpful by putting the information into your brain in two different ways.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I find it to be very interesting! Dr. Doug is a fantastic professor, he really helps you to understand the material, and is so so funny and nice as well! I loved learning anatomy and physiology from him!

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me was being able to go in the lab area and actually look and touch and understand the real bones that he has in the lab area for you. Being able to go in and touch and see the bones for yourself really helps you get a better understanding of the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To be able to succeed in this course, you really need to not be afraid to ask questions! you have to participate, and don't be afraid to get help if you need it! I got a tutor and did way better in the class. A good study tip from me would be make quizlet, and just study study, and read the chapters in the book, and make your own practical's before you take the actual ones that Dr. Doug will give you.
