    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

To be honest, this class is one of the most difficult classes I have ever taken. That being said, I would still recommend for students to take this class. It provides a challenge for everyone that takes it. I believe that challenges are what makes a class fun.

    Course highlights:

During this class I had to memorize the unit circle. When I first saw the unit circle I was terrified. I didn't think that I was even going to be able to remember the first section of it. After taking it home and reviewing it I was able to complete a quiz over it in under five minutes. What surprised me most was that I didn't miss a single problem on it!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most helpful advice that I could give to someone planning to take this course would be to always pay attention. I know people that are failing the class because they are either on their phones or are talking during class. Pre-Calculus is truly difficult and needs your full attention. Take detailed notes and study them frequesntly.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it prepares you for what kind of math classes you will have to take in college.

    Course highlights:

I have learned more than I thought I could in math. My knowledge for math has expanded exponentially.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To pass this class you have to pay attention in class. Make sure that you ask questions because there are many difficult sections in this class just like any other math class.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While I enjoy math, I did not do very well in this class. I worked my hardest, but couldn't understand the topics. I went to the teacher several times during class, but he was unable to answer everyone's questions because the class was simply too large. I have also used nothing I learned from Pre-Calculus in the real world, so I don't recommend anyone take it unless they plan on becoming a math teacher and it is required.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about matrices, vectors, and graphing. Everything in this course builds on previous lessons, so I had to re-read several chapters. Some of the information was very useful, but only within the boundaries of that classroom.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Don't put your homework off, because you will not catch up easily. Always pay attention during class and do your homework. Assignments add up!
