    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In AP calculus you learn enormous amounts of math that illustrates how math appears everywhere. From cars moving to shadows calculus especially shows the world in a better light. Do not get me wrong the course is difficult and exhausting but it is worth it.

    Course highlights:

I learned derivatives and integrals and so much more. But before that we learned trigonometry with sin cos tan and the opposites. The year long class also taught varieties of things to do with derivatives and integrals such as multiplying, dividing, and everything else that follows normal math.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do your work and if you can do it early. The hard part was half understanding the material and the other half was huge workloads at times. There is a summer packet which should be done in the summer. If anything get friends in class so that if you do not understand something they can help.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Anyone who has been in a Calculus class knows that this class is hard and vigorous. My teacher would help any student even if they were not in her class. She would make sacrifices in her schedule just to review a couple quizzes and tests. She would interact with the students and constantly remind them that she cares about them. My favorite part about her is that she really tried to get to know the real you. She would try to help you if you had a problem. Mrs. Stephen is also a gifted teacher because she really enjoys what she teaches. Even though most of my peers started her class not remembering parts of pre-calculus, she would teach us step by step on the pre-calculus and calculus units. Mrs. Stephen is one of my favorite teachers and and I believe that she should be recognized and appreciated.

    Course highlights:

I am very glad I took AP Calculus. I will be able to use calculus in my future. A research company could require me to be able to use integrals and theories to conduct correct trials. I would be able to do this because I know I can retain the knowledge I got from that class because of the way she taught us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend this teacher to anyone! My advise is that you should respect this teacher because of all the hard work she puts in.
