    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would reccommend this class because it is challenging and makes you a better writer and reader. Overall, it was just a great experience and I believe it helped prepare me for higher level college writing courses!

    Course highlights:

This writing course was centered around Modern Romance, so we learned a ton about dating and marriage statistics which were quite interesting. We also learned about the neurological and psychological effects that love has on us as humans.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're considering taking this course, I would recommend not procrastinating and waiting until the last minute to read or write papers. Also, create outlines for all your work!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is an excellent instructor, who is very knowledgeable. Anyone who takes her class and does the assignments will greatly enhance their writing skills. I had two writing classes with Jay and in each class I improved my writing skills significantly.

    Course highlights:

In Jay's class, I learned how to write an essay. I improved a lot because I had to write many essays. She is looking to see if someone understands a reading assignment and do they have an opinion about it. Can they make sense of what they read first and foremost. Grammar and spelling also counts but your opinion comes first.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Any student who takes the time to do the required work will improve their writing skills. By having better writing skills it will help them it their other classes.
