Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

One of the best classes at South Cobb High School would be this entire pathway. Mrs.Green is an awesome public law and safety teacher who doesn't give up on any of her students. I've made it to the fourth and final class and I've learned so much regarding the judicial system. Throughout the entire process you also have a mentor in the making. It is a great class.

    Course highlights:

I know so much more about case briefs, amendments, crimes, the court system, trial process and about many careers. In my opinion the highlight of this course was doing a project on serial killers. Amazing experience to understand how the court trial process works.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Always study any notes that are given or taken. Everything from the first class comes all the way back to information needed in the last and final class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a very hands-on course and you get to do many things you will do in other law courses and jobs. We have done everything from fingerprints to sketching crime scenes to learning CPR.

    Course highlights:

Everyone loved the labs where we got to be hands-on and learn with law equipment or when we had to fight for our cases in our little court we have in the classroom.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is very fun but you have to do a lot of work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. There are multiple levels that focus on different aspects of the criminal justice world so you're always being taught something new. You are opening yourself up to concepts that will come in handy in the future.

    Course highlights:

As students, we're always asking teachers how what we're learning is going to help us in "the real world". Well, I learned things that I can apply to my very day life for years to come! Crime is always going to exist and I've learned about many careers that are always going to be in demand. As a citizen, I learned about rights I have that I might have otherwise never learned. There's an endless amount of topics discussed and it's interesting to become informed about the criminal justice world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always focus in class, do all the work and review, review, review! There's a lot to learn that won't stick after just hearing it once.
