Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very thorough in teaching students what they need to know about writing a developed essay.

    Course highlights:

I gained a new found understanding of exactly how to write an essay as well as good elements that go into it. We learned about rhetoric and the use of these as devices to manipulate an audience. There were three essays that were written, all of which were persuasive essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There is no need to study for this class really. As long as you read the readings and are ready for the pop quiz, you will be fine. It is best to get started on the papers early, but not too early since the sources are chosen for you.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor is an amazing instructor, but you have to obviously put in the work. Read the book, the readings are NEVER long so plan ahead and get them out of the way. You get little tests to make sure you've done your reading which is based off the five W's (Where, What, Who, When, Why) its that simple. Skim the book write down the info on a note card and read it every once in the while or right before class so you aren't lost during class discussion. You get graded on in class participation so (Try) don't be a bum who never interacts or asks questions; not only that but it will give you favor with the instructor. She is a very social person who loves hearing the thoughts of others. Do the in class work, cuz its so easy! The essays are to the point but allow room for creativity, also if you have trouble doing a paper the professor is always willing to sit one on one in her office and talk with you. The class is accommodating, easy, and to the point... you however just HAVE to do the work and attend class; that's it.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I'm a better writer than I anticipated. Watched movies. Had a awesome open concept final project and end of semester food and movie day.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get your books from Chegg they're supper cheep! I rent, but I would suggest buying cuz then you can mark them up and highlight or write notes in them as you go; which is really convenient. Get a planner cuz the readings and essays sneak up on you IF you don't pay attention.
