    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course leaves little to no time for other courses, athletics or social life

    Course highlights:

Mr. Petrie is awesome and does his best to prepare you, there is just too much to squeeze into a one year course

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't do it. Plan on spending entire nights on just this subject

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The workload is tough, but it was worthwhile to me. Any history class has high volume homework meaning lots of reading and outlining with less actual thought. Another major part of the class is the practice essay writing for the AP test.

    Course highlights:

I learned to work at the pace of the global AP test and put separate world events together in context. Instead of memorizing dates and individual facts, I was able to really see the big picture because of that class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the homework. Believe it or not, completing the readings and doing the outlines helps you learn the material. Time yourself when you are writing your AP style essays. This will make you better at keeping your writing fast. The main reason half the country fails these is because students just run out of time.
