Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course, the content is very interesting and the workload is more than doable. The classroom setting can be better compared to that of a college campus class, do to the AP lecturing style; this just means that paying attention in class is vital to learning the materials. Overall the class is manageable, and as long as the work that is assigned is completed, passing is almost guaranteed.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely all of the labs that students are able to participate in. This class offers a variety of different hands-on activities that assist in grasping the content of the lessons. Through these labs I personally gained a better understanding of the functions of the integumentary system as well as big ideas including evolution.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course you should be ready to pay attention in class, because vital information is discussed during lessons. Completing assignments that are giving in class is half of your grade, therefore staying on top of your workload is very important, not to mention very manageable as lab write-ups and review/practice/study packets make up assignments. If assignments are completed tests and quizzes are easier as well, as the assignments given correspond very well with the material.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is great for preparing for college. The clss is challenging and provides a certain rigor to its students. You have to know how to connect your mathematics, previous scientific knowledge, and analytics skills. However, I think the class should be for upper class men.

    Course highlights:

I have learned in depth about the whole process of cellular respiration. I remember taking Honors biology my freshman year and still being unsure of this whole process. However, this class had made this a highlight.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definately wait until you're older to take this class. I am one of two seniors in a class full of sophomores. However, I noticed that many of my classmates struggle in some senses.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gave me a real feel for how college classes would be in the future. Because I took this class I was able to improve my studying and note-taking habits, leading to success in other classes. However, this class is not for the lazy and does require nightly commitment.

    Course highlights:

The most useful things I learned during this course was genetics. I discovered that in today's world the genetics of plants and animals is being experimented with for a variety of reasons and that really excites me. Because of this course I am now writing a laureate paper about genetic engineering and wish to have a career in this field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to note-take in class and study those notes at home. Constant studying and memorization is what helped me the most in this class.
