    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course showed me skills that I need in college. I learned how to basically pick apart any story that was given to me and find a deeper meaning. I sincerely felt like I was finally learning material I would need to further my education, and Ms. Thomas was one of the coolest teachers I have ever had.

    Course highlights:

The best part about this course was all of the interesting stories we read (in sometimes excruciating detail). While I myself am not much of a reader interested in classic literature, I surprisingly enjoyed finally understanding the text and seeing them in a new light.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In my opinion, to succeed in the class you have to actually try. You need to do your assignments to the best of your ability and pay attention and take notes on what she is teaching to you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was fun and entertaining. I actually took AICE LANGUAGE ARTS. I was able to expand on my creative writing skills and learn how to more actively support what I am writing about.

    Course highlights:

I had read a few books during the course. I enjoy reading because I feel like it expands your mind in many ways and is a way to relive stress. My favorite piece of writing we read was the importance of being earnest.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class if you enjoy reading and writing. The benefit is that you can do what you love and earn college credit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved the writing in this course, so many ideas made wonderful discussions in the classroom. I enjoyed it very much.

    Course highlights:

I really learned a lot in the first semester taking the course, how to become a better writer and be exceptionally thorough in my answers for writing prompts

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your writing to the next level and never be afraid to ask questions, just don't procrastinate because it will not be forgiven.
