    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for college readiness. However, receiving college credit is extremely difficult due to the structure of the AP test. Do not take this course if you do not have any interest at all in history and/or social studies-it will make the studying much more difficult if you do not find an element you enjoy.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned the rigor and pace of a college course. In addition, I learned a lot about time management, retaining information, study tactics, ect.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book!! Seriously!! Also, make sure to cumulatively review the content as the class progresses if you plan on taking the AP test. I found it helpful to take advantage of reviewing old tests/prompts to avoid the same mistakes in the future.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class but you need to be prepared for it, always study, do your notes, pay attention during lectures! Baniewicz always gives hints as to what is going to be on her tests. Plus use the book even though it's really annoying it has all the answers because that's where most of her test questions come from

    Course highlights:

Although I don't have anything to specific as a highlight of the class it was always nice to walk into her class at the end of the day.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework! Banie usually doesn't give out much but when she does it's for a reason. Always use the book because she takes questions from the end of the chapters and puts them on the test. Do notes writing out the information that you need to know will help you recognize and remember what you learned about certain topics during the tests

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The Class is highly challenging, one must be ready to do many independent learning and have certain writing skills.

    Course highlights:

The best thing about the course is the details in events that other academic classes don't get to learn. The learning and lessons are very thorough with things you could have been learning since 2nd grade but still learn new things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

honestly, you will probably not end with an A in the class or even with the grade you were hoping on receiving but it will for sure prepare you for college and learn to maintain challenges ans struggles.
