This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course to anyone going into a math or science field of some sort. This math class helped me to understand many of the complex equations and puzzles of other classes. This course helped me learn to think more strategically and not just with basic numbers that were in front of me. Without this course I would not have the understanding that I do with physics or my statistic class I had to take in college. Mr.Veshio is an amazing teacher and without him teaching me everything he did, I may have dropped out of my college math classes.
Course highlights:
I learned that college is not for the faint hearted. Although this course was extremely difficult, it taught me that no matter how hard something may be, you can not just give up. In order to succeed in life, you must push forward through the tough times.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
The advice I am going to give students is do the reading. You will not make it in this class if you do not read or do the homework. If you do not understand something, ask for help. He will be happy to help you one on one. Lastly, do not push off any assignments until the last moment because you will not have time otherwise.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would definitely recommend this class.
Course highlights:
I learned a lot of useful math that could actually apply to real life.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
You don't have to know theorems, but you do have to know equations and when to use them.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would highly recommend this course due to its math-heavy and reading comprehension environment. It really tests you all-around knowledge in math.
Course highlights:
The big highlight was the first day when he gave us a pop quiz and I found out how much math I actually retained from my other math classes.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
My main advice would be to make sure you read everything thoroughly and completely, even if you have to read it more than once.
