    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It taught me that I really needed to study. If you are someone who loves hands-on experiments, labs, math, or science, this class is for you. I am not any of these, but I still am glad I took it because of the lessons I learned along with this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were probably the experiments, since they were very interesting to view and participate in. The teacher is funny, but has high standards. Of course, that is a good thing. I learned that (again) I really need to study to be successful. Chemistry is not a subject that comes naturally to me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Have good study habits! I procrastinated, and passed with As, barely, but don't be like me. Please take time to really understand the material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Taylor is an amazing teacher and always helps students and makes sure that they understand the information. I also love chemistry, but he has definitely helped that love bloom. It is a really fun course because of the way that Mr. Taylor works to make it that way.

    Course highlights:

I learned much more about chemistry during this course. Some of those things were how atoms react with each other and many physical and chemical properties of elements and compounds. The highlights of the course include the many fun and educational labs we did and all of the friendships that were made during this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you are willing to put in the work necessary to succeed in this course. It is definitely difficult but it is also one of the most fun classes I have ever taken. Make sure you are willing to collaborate with other students and are open to all the new concepts you will be learning.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although it's challenging, you'll have a better appreciation for science.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the periodic table and seeing what elements had what characteristics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study in advance and make sure to watch your work carefully.
