In addition to the class being mandatory, taking Chemistry helps students understand the physical and chemical properties of our world. Learning about elements, biochemistry, moles, and reactions is very interesting.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course includes being able to name most of the elements, being able to convert different forms of measurement using the mole island, and understanding different reactions and how they are created.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As usual, do not procrastinate, always be prepared for a quiz, and never be caught tardy!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved to learn about chemistry because it was different. I liked the challenge of solving new problems and it was interesting. The way the class is set up you will preform labs based on the lesson being taught. This really connects the material when you see it being done before you.

    Course highlights:

The scientists that brought forth modern chemistry, the periodic table, organic compounds, stoicheometry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get lost in the material, you should study every day to review what you have already learned to prepare yourself for the next lesson. Practicing the equations and how to balance equations is the best way when trying to learn to balance and solve equations.
