Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was my introduction to AP, and I loved every second of it! The teacher kept students engaged every second of every day, and always made everything interesting.

    Course highlights:

This class will open your eyes to the behaviors and tendencies of yourself and others. It may not give you a degree or anything, but even this class will help you understand the world around you.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with your work, and you will be golden. The class is pretty much 100% memorization, so if you are good at that, the class won't be too bad.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's such a great, informational course! If you're even relatively interested in psychology or the brain this is a must to explore the amazing world of psychology knowledge.

    Course highlights:

AP Psych was basically a Psychology 101 class. It covered everything from the history to the concepts affiliated with each category of psychology studies. You really learn what parts of psychology you enjoy, and which ones not so much. Personally, I think social psychology was the most interesting because you can take the concepts and relate them to your life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely, read your textbook! Your teacher isn't kidding when they say it's essential to passing the class. There's so much good information to help you inside it-so why not read it? On top of that, this class is heavy on vocabulary so make sure to make notecards and study, study study!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone thinking about studying psychology. It will basically cover all the basics of psychology. Mrs. Magee is a quality teacher too. She makes it fun and exciting, and it doesn't even feel like a lot of work, although looking back at it, it was. All the work you do is meaningful though, no busy work. Only work that will help you better understand the materials. I actually sat in on a final review of a college intro to psychology class while on a college visit, and I was actually able to contribute to the review because I knew just as much, maybe even more than the kids in the class. It will not be a waste of time.

    Course highlights:

There was no one single highlight. I looked forward to the class every day. Everything was interesting. My favorite was actually the final project because it reviewed everything we had done the whole year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard. Study for the tests, do all the vocab, but don't worry too much. Just enjoy it. It's a fun class, but you got to pay attention. Do not worry about the notes quizzes. They are always going to be hit or miss, but they really don't effect your grade in the long run.
