    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The work load for this class might seem overwhelming at first but once you get into the swing of things its the best! The topics of study throughout the year are definitely fascinating. You leave learning so much more then you ever expected. Comparing AP to regular Biology classes it isn't the same. You have higher expectations but also given more freedom, but also getting to learn more in depth. Having double class hours for this class is very needed based off of the content you learn.

    Course highlights:

Reading Survival of the Sickest about different diseases and how it correlates with history. I learned more in depth of how our cells work and how energy is made to every part in the ecosystem. That being either the animals or plants to the niches inside them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the daily reading for this class it might seem like a lot of work but when you get surprise quizzes it will defiantly help you out. Also learn good time management, if you have taken other AP classes then you should be fine, but you can be pilled up with multiple experiments and lab write ups that are due on the same night.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a really interesting. The only thing is if you're the type of student who doesn't do work on your own time it might not be a good class for you.

    Course highlights:

I really gained time management. This class is ran like a college course so this allowed me to really see how college is.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused, and do not procrastinate on the work you're supposed to do on your own.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's definitely a challenge but it's a good course if you're looking to go into a biology field.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the labs where you can get hands on experience and a better idea of what you're learning.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study, get involved, and always ask questions if you have any.
