    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was one of my most favorite classes of my high school career. It was very interesting to learn about the ocean and the sea creatures that live deep within. I loved learning about the different species of jellyfishes, squids, octopus, cnidarians and algae.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me personally was the study battles. A day before we had an exam, my teacher would split the class either in half, or boys against girls. Two people, one from each side would have to go in front of the class and answer a question correctly. The team with the most points in the end wins and would get for example 5 extra points on their exam.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to anybody thinking about taking this course to go for it. I think it is an interesting subject and it goes hand in hand with biology. From my experience the course was not hard at all, just make sure you keep up with your notes and the assignments and study for the exams. If all of this is done you will be sure to succeed.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

if you love marine science, this is the class for you. We learn so much in that class, have multiple learning experiences and field trips.

    Course highlights:

The field trips we would go on the to learn more about the ocean, hands on.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't like marine science, don't take this class; its not an easy breezy class you can just take for a good grade. You have to be interested in the subject to really get the learning experience.
