    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Tenney makes succeeding in this class very easy. She provides very detailed PowerPoints to aid in her lectures. She also is very helpful with those who need extra help.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the functions of the human bodies. She touched on many different topics that were very interesting such as how antibodies actually hurt your body and how drinking / smoking negatively affect your body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise that all students taking this course make sure to read the textbook and take thorough notes. It is important to take the time to study for this class because a lot of information is presented each class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is a great introduction into the human biology field. She covers every subject with a passion. Although it is a lecture, she has activities for the students to participate in. If you have any questions she is more than happy to answer them and even look into it for more information. She is an understanding professor. There exams ever couple of weeks, but a study guide is provided; the exams are straight forward she does not try to trick you.

    Course highlights:

After taking this course, I learned a baseline about the human body and the systems. You will learn the basics and work your way up to how they all work together and are interrelated. The class is interactive and fun. The professor works on incorporating real life experiences to help the students grasp the information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapter before class. If you cannot read, skimming the chapter and having a general idea about it will help. During class you will take notes, and make sure you try to get everything written down she tells you. The study guides that are provided are exactly what will be on the test. If you take the notes and study off of the study guide, you will be in great shape!
