Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You learn about statistics and biology all in one, including other aspects of psychology. It's an interesting course and the different real life scenarios keep students engaged.

    Course highlights:

The highlights are relating the course topics to real life scenarios to help students understand the material more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should always read the text and study to do well on the quizzes and exams. Also, when doing the critical thinking assignments, always relate what you're talking about back to the text.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Sisco is a great teacher and makes the class interesting. Although there is a lot of information and vocab, Sisco does a good job of making the class feel involved so it isn't only just her talking to us in lecture form.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I learned about the basics of psychology. For example, in the first chapter, we delved into the philosophers of psychology like Wilhelm Wundt and Ivan Pavlov. By chapter five, we learned about different forms of learning such as operant conditioning and classical conditioning. Overall, this course taught me a lot about what psychology is all about and that you really have to pay attention to certain things because there truly is so much vocab to understand and memorize.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to make sure to read through each chapter assigned at least twice to fully understand what you read and to take careful notes on the sections she chooses to highlight before you go over her in class notes on the following day. It is a good idea to do this because while her in class notes are helpful, you can better understand what you write instead of copying down what she says in class because she goes pretty fast.
