    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course because it informs individuals or students the correct method to handling finance and a business within a successful economy. Macroeconomics taught me the large-scale economic factors on how the economy faces inflation, price levels, national income, gross domestic product, rate of growth, and changes in unemployment rates. This course focused on how to apply the economic value into individual markets to support a business and face many challenges that would lead to success.

    Course highlights:

This macroeconomic course taught me how the national economy affects my daily lifestyle through various ways. The national income depends on healthcare, employment, supply and demand, inflation, consumer price index, international trade, and salary that act as variables to support the gross domestic product or total dollar value. The highlights of this course was how it helped me understand the many ways the United States interacts with other international nations to help one another support each economy with money, trade, and trust to share valuable products.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

An individual can achieve success if one puts their mind and heart to the course they are taking. A student must be focused, determined, and prepared to handle many classes and difficult subjects at once to maintain a balanced school schedule. I would definitely tell fellow students to take many notes while reading the chapters assigned from the Economic textbook per week. Also, where there are tests and quizzes, always make sure to review the notes and homework assignments that could help answer many of the new questions. Overall, these study tips on putting one's mind to earning a passing grade with many handwritten notes and reviewing the chapter assignments could help lead to success on this course and many other courses in the future.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I went into this course without any previous knowledge of economics. The class was very organized and the weekly discussions helped me thoroughly comprehend the material. The professor also provided elaborate feedback on various assignments. I would recommend this class to anyone willing to demonstrate effort.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I gained a well-rounded introduction of macro-economics. I learned the importance of supply and demand in a market-oriented economy. Also, I learned to apply the importance of money and government spending into my financial decisions. Economics is a way of thinking, and the sooner I managed to comprehend that concept, the sooner I was able to make financially-stable decisions. In this course there were four article summary assignments, which allowed me to review articles from "The Economist" and "The National Review". After writing a brief summary on the articles, It become clear that the world revolves around money and the fundamental principles of economics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This rigorous course requires self-discipline. Turn in our assignments on time and read all of the assignment instructions thoroughly. The reading assignments and weekly discussions are up to you to complete. Professor Hurley is always willing to answer questions when necessary.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course during a full term such as Fall or Spring and specifically traditional in class style. I tackled this class online and it moved very fast paced. We were expected to master two chapters a week including two discussions and two quizzes a week. Be ready to set aside a lot of study time as the material is very lengthy.

    Course highlights:

Although this course was a huge challenge, it did give me a brand new outlook on our nation's international trade and activity. I learned and understood how everything we do here in the United States not only alters our own economy but also the economies of other countries. Understanding each and every detail of how our economy is managed was the biggest highlight for me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

While taking this course be sure to take lots of notes on everything! I found the exams to be a bit easier when I saved the correct answers from the quizzes. If you are working off of the platform Blackboard, after every test, quiz or exam is finished, (if the teacher allowed the answers to be seen) it should show your submitted test with the questions you got wrong and right. By the wrong answers, the correct answers should be displayed. Save those answers because it is more than likely that Mr. Hurley will use those same questions in the future.
