Not too easy. Not too difficult.

I would definitely recommend this course to future students. Not only is the subject matter extremely interesting, but the class itself teaches you superb writing and analytical skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was simply learning so many interesting facts about an abundance of different and unique art pieces.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write a lot. When the teacher says to read, you better read. This class cannot be taken lightly. However, on the other hand, have fun with it! It's really a great experience.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend AP Art History to other students. This course is such an interesting and stimulating subject to learn about. Most of the information taught deals with analysis and interpretation. In the process of learning about the specific art pieces, you are learning many historical facts, as well. It opens your eyes to different concepts and allows you to consider various possibilities.

    Course highlights:

Within this course, you are taught how to write like a true college student. My writing after taking this class compared to before shows great improvement. That is the highlight of this course because not only do you learn many interesting facts about art, but you also leave having better writing skills that will help you throughout the rest of high school and into college.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give to future students when taking this course is to really study. Make sure you take some time to thoroughly memorize the art pieces and what they mean or symbolize. This isn't a class that you can necessarily get by based off of just common sense. You must dedicate yourself to studying the given pieces and becoming experts on all of the art.
