    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course provided me the rigor and experience of a college class taken in a high school setting. I have gotten the opportunity to read of books that I have never read. This class has helped open my mind and think outside of the box. What I wished I learned before I took the class is that I should have focused more in second grade.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this intriguing course was my teacher, of course. He graded us as if we were in an actual college class, he did not lighten up on us. He made sure with every power he had to make us read the books. I learned how to read faster in order to keep up with the dates of the books. I have learned to be prompt and punctual.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give considering this course is to never give up on yourself and stay on top of your work, because in the end it is all worth it. Taking Dual Enrollment classes and trying your best any D.E. class will only help you not hurt you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even if you don't start off as a lover of vintage literature, this class will certainly engage you. The teacher's passion inspires students to do their best, and he creates such a connection with the students the class feels like a community.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the class discussions. Mr. Garcia delves into each novel so deeply, by the time we finish there is no nook or cranny left unexplored. I learned to think about literature in a more in-depth way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always check Edmodo. Never skip out on an assignment, nor try to cram everything in one night. He will notice and your grades will suffer.
