Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an imperative class to take for all students no matter what major they are pursuing. Psychology is the rationale of the human brain, something that all humans should at least attempt to understand. This course leads to increased understanding of one's self and why they have the personality that they do and how their parents effected who they are.

    Course highlights:

A very interesting course that allows students to look inside the human mind. Things we've always wondered such as why we think things that we do and even how our eyes process images are included in these chapters. This course explains mental illness and brings awareness to the struggle that those with the illness have.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It help to relate things that you read and learn to your own life and past experiences. Drawing connections between the chapter content and real memories that you have gurantees that you will have a better chance of remembering not only for exam day but into the rest of your life as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved the class and professor. I was never bored during the lectures. Some classes were a drag to get to, but not this one. My class was big, and everyone participated. There was very few dull moments which made the class enjoyable. There was more reading involoved then some classes required, but the readings also went along with the lectures. The class also followed the syllabus nicely.

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge of how the brain function. While there is much more to be learned, I was introduced to functioning, disorders, and treatments of the brain. There is much more then what you see at the surface of the human brain. There is not a day that goes by that you don't use your brain, therefore psychology is everywhere you look,

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the assigned readings. Your grade will directly effect the amount of time you spent on the test. The professor does not give notice on when test and quizes are, so follow the syllabus. The test will be everything that you have read. Also, take notes during class because it will make a difference on test day.
