    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course due to how it was taught. During the fall and spring semesters, this class is taught in an auditorium, and the professor just read out of a textbook.

    Course highlights:

My first attempt at taking this course was a failure, I did not learn the material well enough. I did, however, take this course again in the summer and passed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking difficult classes such as chemistry in an auditorium setting is very difficult especially changing from a high school classroom. If you believe you can still succeed in an auditorium surrounded by 300+ people, then you should try. If you know this isn't the way for you to learn then do not consider this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great introductory course to chemistry that provides many resources for instruction, rather than just teaching yourself from the textbook. Take advantage of what is offered through Sapling Learning, make sure to prepare prior to each lecture and complete every single homework assignment. These are great ways to study and keep up with the course.

    Course highlights:

I loved the use of the clicker device during our lecture sessions. Sapling really enhanced my ability to retain information and kept everything top of mind. The structure of the course required us to keep completing practice questions throughout our lectures and at home, as well study the information needed for each meeting to gain clicker points.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete all practice questions, homework and in class, required or optional. They are relatively easy points for your grade and only help you prepare more for exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommand this course not just because its a requirement as a nursing major but its interesting to know how the atoms really form.

    Course highlights:

What i really took away from this course is the discipline you need to study because its alot of information to take in. Therefor, if you dont dedicate time and effort you wont do well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Its always best to have a study partner. It good to bounce ideas and notes off each other
