Course Overview:
I would recommend this course if you're interested in the field of mathematics, or even if you just want to be prepared for standardized tests like the SAT or ACT. By taking this course you will learn many skills that will help you succeed in higher level math classes. Having a strong background in Algebra 2 will for sure be a benefit when taking Calculus. Moreover, the course is taught by an outstanding teacher that cares a great deal for the success of her students.
Course highlights:
The highlights of this course are the analytical skills that you will gain. The class requires that you understand the material in order to apply is to the exercises. Simply memorizing a formula will not get you anywhere, you have to be able to answer questions on that topic. By taking this course, i learned many different topics, including probability and statistics, factoring, and some trigonometry.

To succeed in this course, you have to pay attention in class and do your homework. If you don't understand something, the best way to solve that is by going to tutoring, and if you can't go to tutoring ask during class or look it up online. Success in this class depends on the type of student you are. There isn't too much homework, so you can focus on understanding the material in class.
