    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are entering the nursing program at lccc, this course is the mandatory course that requires you to pass in order to continue with the nursing program. However, this new program set up is totally confusing to me and all of my fellow classmates. We are truly struggle to survive this course and even an A student is barely passing this course with a C.

    Course highlights:

Althought I stated this course is confusing, I found myself learn many new and useful information that I never knew before. I never worked in the medical field ever before like some of my classmates did or currently working (as LPN, UAP), therefore, I know literally nothing about medical-related information. This course really opens up my mind, I feel my medical knowledge has increased significantly.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend everyone who is going to take this course, read your books, take notes, and prepare your self for class. These are things that I found helping me a whole lot.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is required for the nursing program; although, I learned a lot in this course. The teacher takes time to help you understand what she wants you to know. Tough course, just stick with it!

    Course highlights:

This course helped me link together everything I learned the prior two semesters. I have a better understanding of how the human body works, and how to manage multiple patients.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Record and re-listen to the lectures! Rewrite your notes, focus on the powerpoints.
