    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Highly don't recommend this with him he did not teach

    Course highlights:

I did not learn anything. HE read purely off power points

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take it with Blahnik or if you do, make sure to take your own notes

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is amazing for non-majors, plus Dr. Miller is the greatest professor you could ever have. The material is a little challenging but he explains it in the easiest way and is so interesting to listen to. He is very passionate about the material and you can see and hear it in his lectures. You have to study though but he gives you multiple resources to do so.

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot from this course. Most of it was building off previous information many of us know like photosynthesis and evolution but it goes into more detail. It can definitely be challenging to learn all of it so you do have to try.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You don't need the book to do well in this course all though it might help you do not have to waste your money on it. You get all the information you need from the lectures. A helpful tip if taking this course with Dr. Miller is printing of his lecture notes, its pretty much everything he says in class so if you miss a class or something, you have those as backup. It's not to challenging of a course but I would recommend reading your notes on your own after the lectures to make sure you understood everything. Dr. Miller is there because he wants you to succeed so use him as a resource he is always happy to help out.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher is very nice and he has a teaching style that allows everyone to participate and learn.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is the discussions we have in class. I would learn many things like the difference between abiotic and biotic factors and the characteristics of life and how to use the information I was given and apply to a situation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking notes and asking questions is very important. The teacher is nice so don't be afraid to ask. Also, participating in the discussions is really important because it allows you to use your critical thinking skills and applying what you learn in real life situations.
