Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the professor was great, he had a clear expectation of what to do and was available to help if needed. We covered many different types of projects and he walked us through each of issues that we had. He also took time out of his schedule to meet with us one on one to brainstorm ideas for papers or to go over papers that we had written.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly put different types of papers together. I liked that we had different types of projects and learned how to do different things. It wasn't just writing a paper and that was it. We peer reviewed to go over any questions that we may have and bounce ideas off of one another.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would not procrastinate. The papers were difficult to write and I put a lot of time into it. Also, take advantage of the peer review days, those were super helpful to see how other students were doing theirs and to make sure that you understand the topic well. If you put in effort, you are more likely to get a better grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Since it is a required course, one should take it. I also learned and improved my writing and critical thinking skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would be the amount of writing one does. Some people may not enjoy writing papers, but I found it as a way to improve my skills and it made me consider what views I have on certain issues.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to show up to class. I also found keeping the syllabus on hand helped. Also keep a separate binder and notebook for the course. You will be able to stay organized that way.
